Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to this app on Meta Quest devices.

We collect a limited set of data needed to run the leaderboard, prevent cheating and abuse, and understand how the game is played so we can improve it. This data is linked to a game-specific account ID and your Meta account username, we have no access to your real name or other personal details, and no practical way to determine who you are beyond your Meta username; only Meta could make that connection. We have no access to your email address, phone number, physical address, or payment information — Meta's login doesn't provide any of that to us. Separately, we don't use ad networks or third-party tracking.

Data We Collect

1. Account ID

What is collected: A unique ID tied to your Meta account and this specific game.

How it is collected: Provided automatically by Meta's platform when you launch the app and sign in.

How it is used:

  • To identify you as a returning player and associate your scores and progress with your account
  • To enable core leaderboard functionality

2. Username

What is collected: Your Meta account username.

How it is collected: Provided automatically by Meta's platform when you launch the app and sign in.

How it is used:

  • Displayed on leaderboards alongside your scores
  • Shown to other players when they view or download a top-ranked track (see "Track Replay Data" below)

3. Device Type

What is collected: Your headset model (e.g. Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro, or PC via Link).

How it is collected: Reported automatically by the app at login and with each score submission.

How it is used:

  • To understand which headsets players use, to guide testing and development priorities

4. Scores & Run Statistics

What is collected: The results of a level you complete — for example time, distance, and other level-specific statistics.

How it is collected: Submitted automatically by the app when you finish a level.

How it is used:

  • To rank you on that level's leaderboard
  • To calculate general statistics about how levels are played

5. Track Replay Data

What is collected: For the top 10 players on a level, the track you drew that produced that score. This is the in-game drawing itself — not a recording of your physical movement, headset position, or anything sensor-based.

How it is collected: Uploaded automatically by the app if your score reaches the top 10 for a level.

How it is used:

  • To verify that a top-ranked score is legitimate
  • Other players can view and download top-10 track replays for that level

Replay data is deleted automatically once your score falls out of the top 10 for that level.

6. Gameplay & Usage Data

What is collected: How you play the game — time spent in each game mode, which tools you use, which levels you load, and whether you complete them.

How it is collected: Reported automatically by the app while you play.

How it is used:

  • To understand which parts of the game are used, enjoyed, or found difficult
  • To guide decisions about what to fix or improve

7. IP Address

What is collected: Your network IP address.

How it is collected: Automatically, but only when a request is flagged as suspicious — for example a failed login or a rate-limit violation. Your IP address is not recorded as part of normal, everyday activity.

How it is used:

  • To investigate and prevent spam, cheating, and abuse of the leaderboard

Who Can See Your Data

  • Other players can see your username and scores on that level's leaderboard, and can view or download your track replay if you're in the top 10.
  • Authorized staff may access individual player activity (such as account ID, scores, and usage data) through internal tools to debug issues, investigate suspicious activity, and maintain the service. This data is not shared with any outside company or used for advertising.

Children's Privacy

At login, the app checks the age category associated with your Meta account. Players in a restricted age category are blocked from the leaderboard and related online features before any of their data reaches our servers.

Data We Don't Collect

We have no access to this — Meta's login doesn't provide it to any app:

  • Email addresses or phone numbers
  • Physical or mailing addresses
  • Payment, billing, or purchase information

We simply don't use these:

  • Advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs
  • Chat or voice-chat data
  • Location/GPS data
  • Hand tracking, eye tracking, or microphone/voice input

Data Retention & Deletion

If you would like to request deletion of your data, please contact us. On request, we will delete your account data, including your scores, track replays, and stored activity history.
